Children/family workshop, my favourite watercolour supplies & autumn term classes

I hope this email finds you well and creatively inspired!

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for your continued support and share some exciting updates and upcoming events.

Watercolour supplies

First up, I get a lot of questions around watercolour supplies. When I first started out there seemed to be a confusing muddle of paper, paint and terminology - and yes, I did make a few bad buys. To save you from all that I've finally got round to putting some recommendations together, based on what I've personally tried. I'm not affiliated to any of these suppliers, so this is just my honest opinion, I hope you find it useful.

Thank you - thank you - thank you.... so much for visiting me during Harrow Open Studios, it was lovely to paint with so many new people during the sessions. The St Luke's fundraiser evening was a great success too. Your support and participation were invaluable, and I’m grateful for the wonderful evening we shared together. We also had a beginners 'watercolour techniques' workshop and sunset seascapes which were well received. If you missed out, let me know and I may run them again. Everyone's enthusiasm and creativity made all these workshops truly special!

The last adult class for the summer, 'Watercolour Peonies' is fully booked. Thanks for your enthusiastic response! I’ll be back in September with a 6-week introduction to watercolour for beginners, on Wednesday evenings. Additionally, I’ll be continuing to offer individually bookable Saturday workshops next term. There will be Monet's waterlilies and hummingbirds. If you have any suggestions for future themes, please let me know—I’d love to hear from you!

Thank you once again for your continued support and enthusiasm. I look forward to seeing you in an upcoming class or workshop!

Best wishes for a lovely summer!
